Meal Time Monday - Yak & Yeti

Today lets venture to Asia (inside Animal Kingdom) and explore Yak & Yeti on this addition of Meal Time Monday.

Yak and Yeti is an Asian restaurant located in the Asia section of Disney's Animal Kingdom.  

Yak & Yeti has a fairly wide variety on the menu from Ribs to a Kobe Beef Burger to crispy Mahi Mahi.

Lots of decorations to keep your wondering eyes entertained.

Alden got the Mini Burger with carrots and White rice.  

Clair went with the Chicken Tenders with applesauce, White rice, and a weird look on her face.

Doug ordered Duck with Anandapur Glaze.  He really enjoyed it.  This restaurant made us a little worried about Doug's allergy to mango because it was everywhere on the menu.  Like all Disney restaurants, the chef came and visited out table to talk to Doug about his choices, due to his mango allergy. We were reassured that he could order the Duck! 

I had the Sweet and Sour chicken and it was plenty of food.

On our way out of The Animal Kingdom we snapped a blurry night time picture of the Tree of Life.  

We planned this reservation for just 5 minutes before the park closed.  The last few hours Animal Kingdom is open is a great time to take advantage of the attractions with minimal waits.  When we were done eating we got to walk out with the park to ourselves.
