Meal Time Monday - Enchanted Garden

This Monday we are setting sail aboard the Disney Dream and dining at The Enchanted Garden.
Enchanted Garden menu is described as Continental Market.

The decor embraces the garden theme and models after the gardens of Versailles.

The place setting uses the garden theme with flowers on the plate.

We dined with a port hole table.  If it had been a different time of year the view would have been great but in November the sun was already down.  When we cruised in September, the sun was still up as we were eating.

On the cruise you usually pick one item from each part of the menu but if you don't see any appetizers you want to try you don't have to, or if you see two and just can't decide then don't and have both!  Doug had the Lobster Ravioli for his appetizer and said it was great!

This was the most predictable menu for a table full of Huskers

We almost all had the Prime Rib and it got a two thumbs up from all of the Nebraskans at the table.

Doug however picks just the opposite of what we would eat back home.  He had the Pan Seared Sea Bass.  He enjoyed every bite.

The cruise ships do a great job of letting kids get adventurous with their meals and yet play it as safe as they want.  Our girls had a steady course of Mac and Cheese, while Alden would venture out into the world of food.

Right when you enter the Enchanted Garden you find a fountain with Cupid Mickey atop it.  The lights in the background are actually flowers that bloom as you dine.

The Meal at Enchanted Garden is fully covered by your cruise fair.  (except for alcohol)

To get to dine at the Enchanted Garden you need to book a cruise on either the Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy.
