Welcome to Italy! Ready for the best slice of pizza on Walt Disney World property?
Via Napoli opened in 2010 making it one of Epcot's "newer" restaurants. It is located in the Italy pavilion and serves up authentic Neapolitan style wood fired pizza. They import most the ingredients from Naples, including the water.
Via Napoli Menu |
Lots of options on the Menu so there is something for every one. You can get individual pizzas or huge ones to share.
Doug wanted a picture of the wood burning ovens but we got in the way.
The 3 ovens are named after the 3 active volcanoes in Italy:Stromboli, Vesuvius, and Etna. We had a great seat to watch them toss the dough and move the pizza around the ovens.
We were starving the night we at here. We ordered half mushroom and half cheese. This whole tray was full of pizza when it arrived.
Doug started with just a "little".
Clair might have bit off more then she could chew.
When it was first set down we were sure we ordered way too much, but after a full day in the parks you can build up an appetite.
We would highly recommend Via Napoli to anyone who likes pizza, they do have other things on the menu as well. It is not too "weird" that kids won't eat it either, so it appeals to the whole family.
Via Napoli is one credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
You can find more about the menu here.
